Mee suah is a vermicelli type noodle, however, unlike the more well-known rice vermicelli, it is made of wheat. Mee suah is also known as wheat vermicelli or flour vermicelli. Mee suah is also traditionally served on birthdays. It's a long and thin type of noodle and is said to represent longevity (meaning a long life).
